charlottenborg / exit show / 2020
in this installation, i have worked with juxtaposing the personal with ecological crises. taking the climate crisis personally. the work includes residual products from the amager incineration and fossils from a harbor in copenhagen, all objects i have found close to my home. it feels important to work with the things that are close by, and in this project i have minimized the elements of the set-up for the two places, the harbor and the building site with the residual products and composed them with handwritten notes on paper, dreams and thoughts about wastes, stone, and colors, slide pictures from the two locations and c-prints of the objects, and around them and under them are books for future readings, pdfs printed and bound by hand, books i have not yet read, but which i think would be exciting readings for my work to set it of in an ecofeminist direction.
